Items we take

What we take. And what we can't.

Dump Ninja Junk Removal takes furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, hot tubs, sheds, construction debris, tires and most of what fills a Woodland, Davis or Yolo County garage. Dump Ninja cannot accept asbestos, medical waste, ammunition or wet-cell batteries, and takes paint only in limited quantities.

Single-item pickupStarting at $75

Appliances carry an environmental fee. Stairs can add to the price. You get the whole number on site, before anything moves. No photo quotes. No surprise at the end.

The honest no list

What we cannot accept.

Dump Ninja legally can't take everything, and we'd rather say so here than in your driveway.

Asbestos
Requires a licensed abatement contractor and a permitted disposal site.
Medical waste
Sharps, pharmaceuticals and biohazard material go through a medical waste hauler.
Ammunition, fireworks and explosives
Contact the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office for safe disposal.
Wet-cell batteries
Car and marine batteries go back to any auto parts store or the county hazardous waste drop-off.
Paint, chemicals and solvents: limited quantities. Ask us.
Small amounts we can usually take. Larger amounts have to go to the county's household hazardous waste drop-off, and we'll tell you where.

Straight answers

Item questions, answered.

Do you take paint?

Paint, chemicals and solvents: limited quantities, ask us. Small amounts Dump Ninja can usually take with a Woodland or Davis job. Larger amounts have to go to Yolo County’s household hazardous waste drop-off, and we will tell you where.

Do you take tires?

Yes. Dump Ninja takes tires in Woodland, Davis and Yolo County. Tell us roughly how many when you call and we will quote it on site like everything else.

Do you take refrigerators and freezers?

Yes. Appliances with refrigerant carry an environmental fee, because the appliance goes sealed to a certified recycler who recovers the refrigerant before it is scrapped. If it still works, Dump Ninja re-homes it free through the Second Life program and waives that fee.

Is there a mattress fee?

No. Dump Ninja charges no mattress surcharge. A mattress rides at the same volume price as anything else, California’s recycling program covers the disposal, and every one is recycled.

Do you take hot tubs and sheds?

Yes. Dump Ninja disassembles what needs disassembling and hauls hot tubs, spas, sheds and playsets away from homes in Woodland, Davis and Yolo County. The pad or the slab stays; we leave it swept.

What if my item isn’t on the list?

Call or text Dump Ninja at (530) 444-4441 and describe it. If it fits in a 21-yard truck and it is legal for us to haul, the answer is almost always yes, and we will tell you straight if it is not.
